The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition a Scouting America council can bestow on an adult volunteer. 

The District Award of Merit recognizes individuals who have made lasting contributions to the District. 

An award for new Scouters who’ve jumped in and done their part to help a unit or scouting in the district 

An award for long time Scouters who’ve made a real contribution to keep your unit running smoothly

This award recognizes an adult leader who has made a great impact on the District or in their unit for the given year.

This award recognizes a Den Chief who has made a significant impact in their unit for the given year and serves as an example to other youth.

This award recognizes a Scout who has made a significant impact in their unit/district for the given year and serves as an example to other youth.

This award recognizes a parent who has made an impact in their unit for the year and made memories possible for their Scouts

This award recognizes a parent who has made an impact in their district for the year and made memories possible for their Scouts

This award honors a community organization, regional institution, or individual that partners with Scouting, enables Scouting events, promotion, or fundraising throughout the year, to further the mission of Scouting and opportunities for our region’s youth. 

This award honors an educator or school district that supports Scouting in its classrooms and halls and sees the value that Scouting provides to the youth in our District and its Schools.

This award recognizes a business within the Shawnee District and Southeast Missouri that contributes greatly to Scouting and aims to help youth throughout our region while advancing the Scouting Mission
